Center for Public Faith Partners with Baylor University and Truett Theological Seminary to Equip Leaders in Public Faith

  • February 25, 2026

The Center for Public Faith announces a new five-year collaborative partnership with Baylor University’s Office of Student Life and George W. Truett Theological Seminary. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), effective February 1, 2026, establishes a shared framework to equip students, pastors, and faith leaders through innovative teaching, training, and engagement opportunities focused on faithful public witness.

The Center for Public Faith is a unique organizational collective where GlocalNet, Glocal Ventures Inc, Multi-Faith Neighbors Network, and the Institute for Global Engagement work together as an eco-system that allows to merge everyday people of faith, religious leaders, intellectuals and government officials in a truly transformative way.

Baylor’s Office of Student Life and Truett Theological Seminary share a commitment to shaping students through transformative, faith-centered education. Student Life focuses on enriching the overall Baylor experience through impactful programs and services that foster holistic development, Christian faith, and a lifelong posture of virtuous leadership and service. Truett Seminary’s mission complements this by equipping God-called men and women for gospel ministry in and alongside the Church, emphasizing theological formation, practical ministry skills, spiritual growth, and community as students prepare for Kingdom-focused service and seek to know Christ and make Him known.

The partnership will deliver programming in hybrid formats, online, in-person in Waco, Texas, Washington, D.C., and other locations, covering key areas including:

•  Church Planting
•  Kingdom-Disciple-Society-Church (KDSC) frameworks
•  Religious Freedom
•  Multi-Faith Engagement
•  Domain Engagement
•  Religious Literacy

The MOU emphasizes co-designing courses, seminars, and workshops; developing innovative curricula that bridge theology and practice; fostering dialogue across faith traditions; and creating accessible opportunities in churches, seminaries, and broader public initiatives. No financial obligations are created by the MOU; specific programs, funding, and resources will be addressed through separate agreements as needed.
