Danielle Justine Hartung

Danielle Hartung is the Senior Projects Communications Specialist for Samaritan's Purse Canada, an international disaster response organization. Her work has taken her across South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East, where she has served in relief and development projects across a variety of sectors. She has a background in government and public policy, working on trade and energy issues at the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C., followed by a Canadian think-tank, the Canada Strong and Free Network.
She is a Cardus Next Gen Fellow, focusing on exploring the relevance and resources of the Christian faith for vocations and for public life today. Her faith, policy perspectives, and international experience have given her a passion for issues of freedom, particularly the subject of religious freedom and conscience rights.
