Mariam Zahur is a Global Development Specialist from Kenya. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Development Studies. She works in her community to encourage young girls to pursue an education. She is a volunteer at Swahilipot Hub and is a part-time researcher in Counter Violence Extremism. Mariam has worked with many NGOs under the Women Against Violent Extremism Project and continues to do this kind of work in Kenya.
