This special supplement issue examines contemporary challenges and prospects for covenantal pluralism in Western societies. The issue features country case studies of the United States, England, Canada, Australia, France, Netherlands, Denmark, and Italy, as well as new global data on Western democracies from the Religion and State Project. The issue is part of the journal’s ongoing covenantal pluralism series and is made possible by a grant from the Templeton Religion Trust.
