Just War and Likelihood of Success
The summer 2024 edition of The Review of Faith & International Affairs is a special issue titled “Just War and Likelihood of Success.” Guest-edited by Robert Joustra, the issue features an array of highly distinguished scholars examining some of the philosophical and practical challenges of applying the “likelihood of success” criterion within just war theory. Contributors discuss many real-world cases such as Ukraine’s defensive war against Russian aggression. The issue grows out of an International Studies Association roundtable organized by Eric Patterson.
