IGE Senior Research Fellow Michael Gerson was a special guest on the 10 October edition of the television program “Inside Washington,” hosted by Robert Satloff. The show is produced and aired on the U.S.-sponsored Alhurra network, which is broadcast internationally, particularly in Arabic-speaking countries. Alhurra transformed IGE’s conference room into a television studio for the interview, which was recorded in English and aired with Arabic subtitles. Mr. Satloff and Mr. Gerson discussed a variety of current issues including healthcare reform, the war in Afghanistan, and the need for greater civility in public discourse.
