The Institute for Global Engagement Appoints Chief Strategy Officer
IGE is pleased to announce that Alissa Seiple will join the organization as Chief Strategy Officer, reporting directly to the Board for all strategic planning and development issues. She is joining IGE from LMI, a not-for-profit strategic consultancy committed to helping government leaders and managers reach decisions that make a difference. In her role at LMI, Ms. Seiple provided strategic management, marketing, communications, and analytic expertise to government clients. Prior to LMI, Alissa was a part of the Organizational Strategy department of Booz Allen Hamilton where she supported government clients through communications and outreach efforts. She also serves as the chair of both the strategic planning and development committees for the Board of St. James’ Episcopal School in Warrenton, VA.
“We are excited that Alissa will be a part of the senior leadership team. The Board has considered this issue thoroughly, and we realized Alissa is the right person for the right time in IGE’s life. No one knows IGE better, especially the relationships with our stakeholders,” said Nicole Bibbins-Sedaca, Chair of IGE’s Board. “Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious and her senior level leadership skills are a must as IGE moves to the next stage of global impact.”
“I am delighted to welcome Alissa to IGE,” said Brady Anderson, the Vice-Chair of IGE’s board. “This is a crucial time for IGE as we embark on new initiatives and look forward to celebrating ten years of tremendous work. Alissa’s keen intellect, passion, and long-term support and knowledge of IGE make her an ideal advocate for our efforts and a perfect fit for this new role.”
In addition to strategic planning, marketing, communications, and development, Ms. Seiple will also develop and lead IGE’s Women of Peace initiative.
