Participants came from four cities: Hanoi, Ha Long, Hai Phong, and Nam Dinh; and three provinces: Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, and Nam Dinh.

During the workshop participants learned about conflict analysis, constructive and assertive communication, anger management, and methods on how to handle conflicts. In addition, participants identified and discussed common personal sayings and attitudes, as well as traditional rituals and expectations that can cause conflicts between individuals or groups within their faith and with people of other faiths.

This is the second workshop that IGE and ECVN-N have co-organized for churches in the North of Vietnam. The first workshop was in March 2012. We are encouraged by the fact that more than 200 people wanted to register for the second workshop. However, organizers had to keep the number of participants down to a reasonable size to ensure the quality of the workshop.
