On 11 January, IGE founders Robert and Margaret Ann Seiple returned for their 13th visit to Laos, a country where they have been integral in efforts to promote religious freedom since Mr. Seiple’s tenure as the first U.S. Ambassador for International Religious Freedom.

During their visit, they will meet with Lao provincial and central government representatives, including Vice President of the Lao Front for National Construction, Mr. Tong Yeu Tho; with U.S. Ambassador to Laos, Patricia Haslach; and with Lao religious representatives at the national and local level.

Currently, Mr. Seiple serves as President of the Council for America’s First Freedom in Richmond, VA.
