Sr. Olivia Umoh

Sr. Olivia Umoh is a Catholic Sister of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. She is the Director of Safe-Child Advocacy (SCA), a social service institution owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi which provides multifaceted services to support, reintegrate, and promote accessibility for children in street situations.
Sr. Olivia has over 36 years of experience in the Social Work practice. Her expertise spans the fields of rehabilitation/reintegration of children in street situations/homeless persons, victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and child marriage.
Sr. Olivia holds a Masters of Philosophy in Sociology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, as well as a M.A. in Leadership in Mission from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA. She is a graduate of Social Work and Community Development from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Sr. Olivia Umoh is currently the coordinator of Talitha Kum Ghana, a member network of Talitha Kum International Network of Consecrated Persons Against Human Trafficking. Sr. Umoh is the Director for the Directorate of Child Protection and Prevention of Domestic Violence.
