Jillian George is a rising junior at Pepperdine University, majoring in International Studies with a focus on Global Politics and Religion. She is passionate about exploring new cultures and deepening her understanding of religion—interests she has pursued while studying abroad in Japan, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and now in Washington, D.C.

Drawing on the life lessons gained through her international experiences, Jillian is excited to join the Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) to learn more about the global religious freedom process and hear the stories of how IGE fosters lasting relationships to advance its mission.

Jillian has a deep passion for uplifting others, demonstrated through her involvement with Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. She is committed to using her voice to inspire change and empower others, sharing her journey as a featured TEDx speaker.

To enrich her academic pursuit in international affairs, Jillian is a proud member of the Pepperdine Global Fellows and Great Books programs. She also embodies school pride and a spirit of service as a Residential Advisor and member of the Pepperdine Ambassadors Council. She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships that last a lifetime.
