IGE Updates

IGE’s CWFL hosted a webinar in conjunction with the 2020 Ministerial to Advance Freedom of Religion or Belief, the largest international conference convening government and civil society leaders to address religious freedom.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2021 Fellowship Cohorts. Applications are due by February 15, 2021. Fellowship programs run for a full calendar year with the purpose to give women of faith the opportunity to increase their capacity and leadership skills, in order to more fully address religious freedom, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding in their own contexts.

IGE will convene a side event entitled, “Women-of-Faith’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic”. Amidst this pandemic, the 2020 CWFL Fellows have faced unprecedented challenges both as leaders who advocate for the vulnerable and marginalized, and in their professional lives. Nevertheless, our Fellows have applied the skills acquired through this Fellowship like never before. 

IGE and the Institute for Religion and Belief at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics will collaborate on publishing a Vietnamese translation of Religion and Security: The New Nexus in International Relations. The book will serve as an important resource for leaders in government, academia, and civil society in Vietnam.
