IGE is pleased to announce the release of our 2019 Annual Report. Throughout 2019, IGE successfully maintained and advanced our presence and our programming in all of the countries where we operate.
IGE’s Center for Women, Faith & Leadership (CWFL) launched the 4th cohort of its flagship fellowship program. The one-year fellowship advances the leadership and skills of women of faith working to advocate on behalf of the vulnerable and marginalized.

The Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) is pleased to announce that Marji Hughes has been named as the new Board Chair.
On 31 January 2020, the Institute for Global Engagement’s Center for Women, Faith & Leadership (CWFL) launched its first Distance Learning Fellowship Program. The Distance Learning Fellowship is a one-year online fellowship program for women of faith seeking to advance their leadership through skill building, as they advocate for the vulnerable and marginalized.
IGE invited to speak on two different occasions during the annual National Prayer Breakfast. Emphasis was placed on IGE’s model of engagement and relational diplomacy and how that was applied in Uzbekistan.
From December 10-13, 2019, IGE held a training program for Kachin church leaders on “Religion and Rule of Law” in Mandalay, Myanmar. The training provided a rare opportunity for Kachin church leaders to learn from international legal experts and religious freedom practitioners and receive equipping in knowledge and tools for effectively engaging governing authorities and building multi-faith alliances.
