On June 2, 2020, President Trump signed the “Executive Order on Advancing International Religious Freedom,” which prioritizes advancing international religious freedom as a key factor in U.S. foreign policy. IGE has long advocated for this and looks forward to the implementation of this order.

The session provided Uzbek members of parliament the opportunity to query government officials about religion laws and policies and the implementation of its Religious Freedom Roadmap. IGE was one of the international observers invited by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
IGE partners with the Vietnam-USA Society at the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the faculty of Vietnam National University Law School to publish the first-ever textbook on religious freedom.
The CWFL Virtual Prayer & Self-care Summit offered current and past Fellows the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop skills to address fatigue, trauma, stress, and anxiety during turbulent times.
The consultation was the first of its kind and the fruit of a religious freedom MOU signed between IGE and the Uzbekistan government and the first-ever Religion & Rule of Law training that IGE held in the country last November.
The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) recently issued its 2020 report which contains chapters on some of IGE’s focus countries. Familiarize yourself with the report’s findings as well as how IGE is making a difference on the ground.
