Amy Owen joined the IGE Board of Directors in November 2018. Ms. Owen is the Global Governance Director and Global Campaign Director at Alpha International where she continues her extensive career in fund development, both at the national and global level. Over the past twenty years her work has spanned three continents and multiple disciplines. Amy began her career in Kenya working for Habitat for Humanity and since that time has worked in other regions in Africa, the U.S., France, Switzerland and the U.K. During her time in fundraising she has helped to support the work of Emory University, The Carter Center, A Rocha International, WWF International and most recently Alpha International. She is passionate about philanthropy and believes wholeheartedly that we can change the world by connecting people to funding opportunities that lead to lasting impact. She was born and raised in Kenya and is glad to call herself a cancer survivor, a proud aunt and a wine enthusiast.
