Center for Global Education
IGE's educational programs are conducted under the auspices of its Center for Global Education (CGE). CGE prepares current and emerging leaders to engage global affairs in ways that promote sustainable environments for religious freedom.
IGE believes that sustainable religious freedom depends not just on legal rights but also public responsibilities. This is a balance that governments and religious communities alike must understand; public policy leaders need to be educated about religious rights, while religious believers need to be educated about how to exercise those rights responsibly.
CGE programs aim to provide leaders with the intellectual and practical framework needed for engaging other cultures, countries, and religions. Such leaders develop a keen understanding not only how religion contributes to global problems, but how religious liberty is part of their solution. Currently CGE's signature program is its ongoing series of Global Leadership Forums. A Global Leadership Forum is not just another academic conference. Rather, it is a safe a creative space in which people of faith and global leaders come together to learn about the toughest international issues while building relationships.
