Undergraduate Interns

The Institute for Global Engagement's Internship Program equips college students for careers in international affairs by providing them with valuable experience in a faith-based non-profit organization that works at the nexus of religion and politics in Washington, D.C., and worldwide.  To learn more about internships at IGE, visit the Center for Global Education's intership page.

Tracy Piersma

Tracy Piersma is an intern at the Institute for Global Engagement for the spring of 2010. She recently graduated from Hope College with degrees in International Studies and German.

Ellen Richardson

Ellen Richardson is an undergraduate intern for the spring 2010 semester. As a senior at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, Ellen is pursuing a B.A. in International Relations with a focus on International Development Studies.

Joseph Morrison

Joseph Morrison is a 2009 fall intern at IGE. Joseph, a junior at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, is currently pursuing his BA in political science. Joseph has participated in several service learning projects abroad.

Allison Wilhite

Allison Wilhite is a 2009 fall intern at IGE. Allison is an undergraduate student at Stonehill College pursuing a degree in International Studies with a focus on Latin America and Political Science.

Jessica Smelser

Jessica Smelser is a recent graduate of Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, where she earned two bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies, with a minor in International Affairs and Arabic.
